CARRERA BY SAFILO LAUNCHES THE NEW SUNGLASSES AND PRESCRIPTION FRAMES COLLECTION: WITH THEIR UNMISTAKABLE DESIGN AND PECULIAR DETAILS, THE NEW STYLES ARE THE PERFECT ACCESSORIES FOR A WINNING LOOK.
The company payoff, “Racing sunglasses since 1956″, highlights the two souls of the brand, the “racing” and the “vintage” ones, and the new collection applies to both perfectly thanks to peculiar items.
The Carrera Vintage line is enriched with new models, which now come in materials with peculiar technical features. The CHAMPION ADVANCE and SAFARI ADVANCE sunglasses have a front in carbon or glass fiber, while the ultra-slim temples are in metal: vintage design mixed with ultramodern materials. The new models in carbon and glass fiber are only available in a black or gray texture respectively. Both versions have graded gray lenses.
Thought for men with classical and modern tastes at the same time, BACK 80’s, in metal, has an essential squared line and eighties mood. The CARRERA icon appears on the nose-piece, while the slim temples are personalized by the logo. Perfect urban-appeal for ENDURANCE: on the front in Optyl, with its drop line, the brand icon shows up, while CARRERA is written on the initial part of the metal temples, highlighted by a definite graphic line and a hue in perfect Eighties style.
The new collection proposes ophthalmic frames with a classic, recherchè style. The acetate models CA6139, in a Fifties style, and CA6135, with a rectangular shape, have discrete nuances in black-palladium, crystal-black, blond Havana-light gold, honey-light gold and many more. On the metal temples, supplied with comfortable spring hinges, the logo of the collection stands out.
Maximum comfort and minimal design, model CA7480 is produced in steel and also has spring hinges on the temples. The CARRERA logo is silk-screened on the external part of the temples, and is discretely visible on the recherchè tints. Carrera sunglasses and prescription frames collection is produced and distributed by Safilo Group.
